Jon is a founding director who moved from law to legal recruitment in 1994. Jon set up gmk in 1998, having worked for two London legal recruitment companies previously. His focus is on placing senior associates and partners, and management of the business.
Outside of work Jon watches excessive amounts of football, particularly Chelsea, and with the demands of a young family he tries hard to find rare moments for relaxation.
Lynne McCarroll
Director
Lynne is a founding director who advises on advertising, recruitment and retention strategy as well as placing lawyers into pp.

Lynne is a founding director who qualified with Herbert Smith in 1994 before moving into recruitment with another London legal recruitment agency. Having co-founded gmk in 1998, Lynne can also advise on advertising campaigns in addition to recruitment and retention strategy.
Outside of the office, Lynne's attempts to emulate Sarah Beeney and Nigella Lawson are met with varying degrees of success.
Deborah Adkins
Director
Deborah is a director who recruits assistant solicitors, partners and PSLs into law firms.

Deborah joined gmk in 2001 and was promoted to director in 2005. Her legal career was spent with Pinsent Masons and CMS Cameron McKenna. Deborah specialises in placing PSLs and assistant solicitors.
Outside of the office, when she is not competing in marathons or cycling from one end of the country to the other, Debbie has been known to enjoy the odd glass or two in local winebars.
Jamima Rey

Jamima's focus is on the placement of solicitors in London, particularly within the US sector.

Jamima spent 5 years with Ashurst where she trained and qualified as a corporate solicitor in 2001. She joined gmk in 2004, was promoted to associate director in 2007 and focuses on recruitment for the London offices of US firms.
Jamima has a passion for all creatures, great and small, and has a menagerie of domestic animals to rival Doctor Dolittle. As well as advising candidates on their careers and various pet ailments, she is also an accomplished diver and likes to think she might discover a new pelagic in the Caribbean waters.
Sarah Livesey
Associate Director
Sarah's focus is the placement of lawyers at all levels in London.

Sarah qualified as a lawyer in 2001, and spent 5 years as a reinsurance lawyer in the City before moving into legal recruitment in 2006. Sarah joined gmk in 2008 where her focus is on placing lawyers at all levels of seniority into UK and US law firms in London.
When she is not in the office, and unlike some of her more "sofa bound" colleagues, Sarah can be found at gigs or the theatre, or bombing down a black run in a bid to get her hands on some gluwein.

Kat has been successfully placing lawyers into City firms since 2005. Prior to moving into recruitment she worked within the marketing and advertising team at Hays Legal. Kat joined gmk in September 2008 and continues to focus on recruiting lawyers at all levels in the London market.
When she is not working hard in the office Kat enjoys dancing and attends weekly classes, she fancies herself as one of the kids from Fame!
Grace Wilkinson

Grace has over 5 years' experience in recruitment, the majority of which has been spent recruiting into the legal sector at associate level. After a couple of years in search and selection within the pharmaceutical industry, Grace joined gmk in 2011 and is delighted to be recruiting lawyers of all levels in the London market again.
Outside of the office, Grace's passion is rugby. A player from the age of 7 and married to a RFU referee, she has recently returned to the field and is busy building the next best women's rugby side in Greater London!

Jared has been placing lawyers into London firms since 2010. He joined gmk in summer 2011, where he continues to focus on recruiting solicitors at all levels in London and the Home Counties.
Outside of the office, Jared pretends he knows how to play golf to a respectable standard. He is also a West Ham fan (though he says he'd be much happier if that didn't become public knowledge!).
Jamie Hughes Martin

Jamie heads up the international division of gmk with particular focus on recruitment in Hong Kong, Singapore and the PRC.

Jamie worked as a consultant for gmk from 2006 to 2009 before re-joining his former colleagues in 2011. In between, he worked for a major recruitment agency in Hong Kong, and has experience of placing lawyers of all levels with leading international law firms in Asia. Jamie is now heading up the international division of gmk with particular focus on recruitment in Hong Kong, Singapore and the PRC.
When not in the office, Jamie can usually be found by a river or lake soaking up the scenery and catching the occasional fish, 'sampling' traditional cider or watching his beloved Liverpool FC.
Liam Taaffe
Head of IH
Liam heads up the In-House division of gmk, with particular focus on recruitment in the hedge fund and TMT sectors in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

Liam has been successfully placing in-house lawyers into leading e-commerce and hedge fund businesses in the UK and Europe since 2008. Prior to moving into recruitment he worked within the online team at TheLawyer.com where he successfully developed close relationships with key legal contacts in the UK and mainland Europe. Liam joined gmk in January 2012 to establish its In-House division.
Outside of work, Liam "enjoys" the gym and running in Victoria Park. At weekends he can also often be found at secret gigs in East London hoping to witness the next big band/musician, or as a huge car fan, working on his beloved car. As an Irish native, Liam is also very active within the Irish business community in London and spends a lot of his spare time networking within many of the Irish business groups.

Outside of work she spends most of her time obsessively watching back to back episodes of "House", having dinner and drinks with her nearest and dearest, and when the chance arises she loves climbing and snowboarding.

She has a passion for music and often spends her weekends seeing her favourite DJs . She also loves exploring London, including hunting down vintage clothes shops and visiting the huge number of markets in the city.
